Our Spirit Soars
Campaign Summary
The Our Spirit Soars Capital Campaign begins in early 2008. As a faith-based, prayer enriched campaign, it will include parish meetings, prayer groups, dinners and luncheons. The funds pledged will be received over a three-year period and will be allocated toward the renovation, upgrade, and expansion of our church.
From our very beginnings, enthusiasm, dedication, determination and love of God have characterized the parishioners of St. Thomas More Parish. This exciting spirit is still alive and growing. We hope you will join us as Our Spirit Soars and give with joy by participating fully in the capital campaign. “If you build it, they will come,” is a well-known phrase from the movie, Field of Dreams.
At St. Thomas More Parish, we have learned, “lf you envision it, it will be” since St. Thomas More is a place where dreams come true. Just as those in the past provided beautiful facilities and made room for us, so we must preserve these facilities and make room for those who are seeking a place like St. Thomas More to let their spirit soar.
As we let God’s Spirit work through us…all things are indeed possible.

Most often, when we think of making gifts to St. Thomas More Catholic Church and others, we naturally think of giving from our income.
However, as we prayerfully consider sacrificial giving to help St. Thomas More during this campaign, we have an opportunity to reflect on other sources for giving as well. Often these other forms of gifts offer additional benefits to the donor.
