I am delighted in welcoming you to the St. Thomas More parish website. God's amazing gift of technology has made it possible and easy for us to communicate instantly through this wonderful instrument. I hope you are as excited as I am about the enormous possibilities that exist, not only to communicate like this, but to reach out to the worldwide community with the gospel for all people to hear. St. Thomas More is a modern, progressive Catholic community. Our people are friendly, open, generous and caring. They love their parish dearly. The church and Parish Life Center are located on a 23 acre park-like setting in Sarasota, Florida on Gulf Gate Avenue, off US 41 near Stickney Point Road. You are most welcome to come and visit with us. If you are a non-practicing Catholic, for whatever reason, and have not been to the Holy Eucharist in some time, I personally would like to take this opportunity to invite you "home". We will do all we can to help you rediscover, appreciate and renew your Catholic identity. If you are not a Catholic and happen to be reading this letter, please be aware that you too can participate in some of the many programs which the parish offers and which may be of interest to you. For example, each year we offer a concert series and a variety of educational and enrichment programs to which we cordially invite you.
